Invented in the 13th century, the mechanical clock represents a huge advancement in people’s quest to make an accurate determination of time, to answer the old-age question “What time is it?”

Setting up a mechanical clock:

3. Use the right key for the clock, and do not forget to wind it.
4. To start the clock, push the pendulum lightly using your fingers.
5. To set the time, turn the minute hand clockwise.
